There are so many fun, interactive activities and sites here in Chilliwack! Whats your favorite summer activity this season?! Check a few of our favourite spots to take the family and enjoy some summer fun in this great city. We love it here!

Hiking Mt Cheam

One of the most spectacular views in the Fraser Valley, Mount Cheam offers a 360-degree panoramic view from Chilliwack and the communities along the Fraser River, Jones Lake, the surrounding peaks, and Mount Baker to the south.

River Rafting

The Chilliwack River is located on the south side of the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1). Inflatable paddle rafts are the vessels of choice. Most rafting tours are day trips that range from moderately challenging tours that can cover 14km/8.7mi and take up to five hours, to tours that offer continuous whitewater intensity with Class III and Class IV (advanced) rapids.

Cultivate Chilliwack Farm to Table Dinner

As part of our Fraser Valley discovery tour, Modern Mix Vancouver was invited to the first-ever Cultivate garden party and dinner at the Chilliwack Corn Maze.

On a regular day, Canada’s first corn maze attraction is filled with family-friendly activities including a seasonal pumpkin patch, farm animals, and of course, a 12 acre maze. But for the first ever Cultivate farm-to-table charity dinner, it was a beautiful scene straight out of Pinterest as the orchard outside the maze was transformed into a tasteful, garden party event.

Cultus Lake

As one of the most popular destination areas in the Lower Mainland, Cultus Lake Provincial Park is characterized by a large, warm freshwater lake and scenic forest-clad mountains. The park is almost evenly divided between the northwest and southeast sides of Cultus Lake. The northwest portion is mostly undeveloped with the visitor-oriented facilities confined to the southeast portion.

Just an hour and a half drive away from Vancouver, visitors will find four campgrounds, a large day-use area for picnicking and boating, and ample opportunity for fishing, water skiing, wind surfing and hiking.

Cultus Water Park

While you are in the Cultus Lake area, why not check out our companion park CULTUS LAKE WATERPARK. This is the perfect combo for a great day trip!

Cultus Lake Waterpark is BC’s biggest and best Waterpark. The waterslides are supervised by quality-trained water safety staff. The facility and attractions are constantly maintained, upgraded, and expanded to provide a wide range of waterslides and amenities for every guest. Top priority is always given to ensure that we maintain customer satisfaction as a safe, clean, and family-fun environment. Check out for more details.
